• November 6th, 2018: Bunch of new photos in the 2018 folder.
• August 18th, 2018: Literally a couple of new photos.
• July 23rd, 2018: New photos.
• May 19th, 2018: Added a couple of photos.
• March 4th, 2018: Long overdue, fresh photos to the 2017 folder and some new work from 2018.
• June 11th, 2017: Another few fresh photos in the 2017 folder.
• March 19th, 2017: A long overdue update; some recent and moved the vastly updated 2016 folder to Various 2016.
• June 23rd, 2016: A few fresh photos in 2016 New.
• June 9th, 2016: Just some new photos in 2016 New. Quite random collection.
• February 2nd, 2016: Minor update, moving the 2015 albums into one, and a new album for 2016, quite empty for now.
• September 22nd, 2015: Quick update, a bunch of (very) recent photos in a new album 2015 New; updated the Gear page a bit too.
• September 19th, 2015: It is rather unbelievable it took merely 2 years, but I finally fixed the issue causing the images to display incorrectly on Chrome, Safari and Edge. Well, I tested on the latest Chrome and Edge, and it works. It takes the pressure from updating the entire backend a bit ;-). New photos will be added soon.
• February 2nd, 2015: Another incredibly lazy update. The "Newest" album is merged with Various 2012-2014, and a new 2015 Various, which is a very uncritical selection of recent photos. In the background, I am actually really trying to put together a new site. But since I figured it is worth doing it right, I'm in a bit of a learning curve to get grips with some better approaches. As long as it keeps raining in the evening and the weekend, there is hope!
• August 14th, 2014: a lazy new album called "Newest" with a lazy collection of recent photos, unsorted and uncohesive. It's summer. I'm lazy.
• April 1st, 2014: Plus a decent number of new photos in nearly all albums, plus updates to various pages.
• March 31st, 2014: Massive clean-up, removed several albums I felt no longer happy with, consolidated most others into smaller collections. All in all, the site is now a lot smaller, but hopefully more cohesive as well.
• August 16th, 2013: Mini update to Siracusa (Santuario Madonna delle lacrime), updated gear list after a shopping spree.
• March 7th, 2013: I seem to be neglecting this site, but I've spent quite a bit of time preparing to change the rear-end of the site, in order to solve problems with Chrome, Safari, and so on. Eventually, it will come! But, for now, to make up for my slowness: some photographic updates! New album Decay, Street (2013), Various (which for now contains older photos mainly), and updates to Sicilian Landscapes (II), 2010-2013 Various, Street 2012 and Graphic - Object II. And now back to programming the next edition of this site....
• December 6th, 2012: Fixed problem with Internet Explorer with a bit a hack. Opera and Chrome remain a problem for viewing photos.
• December 4th, 2012: Much long overdue maintenance! First of all a bit an overhaul of the design. While testing, the problems with the photo albums in several browsers (well, almost all of them, really - firefox works, and IE8 somewhat), became too obvious. I know it's really time to redo the whole lot. But for now, it's a new lick of paint, a bit a warning when things won't work and that's it. When I get to redoing the bowels of this site, it'll be time to clean up the photo collection too. There are way, way, way too many photos here.
  The gear is up to date. And new photos too even! New albums: Sicilian Landscapes II and Birds II, and updates to: 2009-2012 Various, Street (2012), Graphic/Object II and Siracusa (Various II).
• October 27th, 2012: New album Malta (it's a quite random collection from my latest holiday), and another minor gear update.
• June 30th, 2012: Minor update to the gear page, but one that gives major pleasure so far. Added an album Baccanti (2012), from the classical plays in the Greek theatre in Siracusa. Some more updates to follow soon....
• March 10th, 2012: Somewhere some time ago I did a little update to give this site a fresh look. Forgot to update this page.... Today's update is a little addition on the Gear page (will it never stop?!). New album added: Street (2012). Renamed Milano to Milano, Como, Parma, and added photos to it. Removed the 3 albums from my trip to Spain in 2006. Might come back, but then a lot more condensed. Plus updates to a few albums: Graphic - Object II, Street (2011) - its very last update -, Siracusa (Buona Notte), Siracusa (Parco Archeologico), Siracusa (Ortigia), Sicilian Landscapes and Sicilia.
• December 28th, 2011: Yes, yes, it's been more than a while. But not because I haven't been shooting some photos, but rather the reverse: too much to sort, edit, review... and so this site got a little neglected. So, here we go.... New album Roma, albums Sicilia and Sicilia II got reworked into Sicilian Landscapes and Sicilia, hopefully making a bit more sense, though the split is not that clear-cut.... A lot of additions to these two albums, mainly from the Parco delle Madonie. Split Graphic - Object into two albums, as it grew too large, and added photos to the second album. Renamed all three Street albums, now split per year, with additions to Street (2011). Further additions to Birds, Siracusa (Buona Notte), Siracusa (Duomo), Siracusa (Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime), Siracusa (Ortigia) and Siracusa (Various II).
  Also updated are the gear and photography pages.
• September 25th, 2011: Updates to albums Powerboat Race Siracusa, Graphic - Object and very minor updates spread over various other albums: Siracusa (Various II), Sicilia II and Siracusa (Ortigia). And updated the gear page after my Fuji compact decided to stick its lens out.
• August 30th 2011: Updates to albums Sicilia II.
• August 5th 2011: Added new album Palermo, and added some photos to Street III.
• June 14th 2011: Small update. Added a few to Street III, and made new albums Sicilia II and Siracusa (Various II) since their unnumbered counterparts were getting too large. Additions to both those albums too.
• May 27th 2011: Been extremely uninspired lately. Some photos from my last trip to Nijmegen a week ago, and a few additions to Siracusa (Various). I should shoot a bit more.
• Apr. 3rd 2011: My o my, have I been letting this website linger.... I've not been making a lot of photos lately, so there was little to update. Yet, found it needed to do something with this site. So, to make up for that silence in images, I made a mess now! Or maybe it's spring cleaning.
  Consolidated Birds back into one album, Hatertse Vennen, Fall, Winter and Mookerheide became together Nijmegen Nature. Nijmegen, Nijmegen - Revisited (2010) and 52 Degrees (Nijmegen) are now happy together as Nijmegen. Gone are Natale in Siracusa, Processione di S. Lucia, Night at the beach, Bagno, Lizard Love, Various 2008, Various older and Zeeland albums. Added photos to Street III, Graphic - Object, Siracusa (Buona Notte), Sicilia and some files from the deleted albums ended up in other places.... Aaaarghh... there are too many files here!
• Jan. 10th 2011: Welcome to a new year. Finally some time taken to add new photos. New album Street III; further updates to albums Birds 2, Siracusa (Castello Maniace), Graphic - Object, Sicilia, Siracusa (Various) (the latter two include scans, like in analog photography), Natale in Siracusa, Various 2009-2011 (cleverly renamed it too, yeah). Updated gear list and some very minor updates to the site itself.
• Oct. 31st 2010: Finally.... updates. New albums Firenze and Nijmegen - Revisited (2010). Updates to existing albums: Mongibello (Mt. Etna), Taormina, Powerboat Race Siracusa, Sicilia, Hatertse Vennen and Street II.
• Sept. 5th 2010: New albums Acicastello and Megara Hyblaea, and updates to the albums Street II, Siracusa (Duomo), Graphic - Object, Siracusa (Ortigia) and Siracusa (Various). Also added some to 2009-2010 Various. In most albums, the new photos appear on the bottom of the page, by the way.
• August 24th 2010: Long silence again, but in the time in between added a new album Lysistrata of a performance of this classical Greek comedy in the Greek theatre in Siracusa. Newly added for today is the album Val di Noto and some additions have been made the past weeks to several albums. Also updated the gear list - now looking for good B&W film...
• June 26th 2010: After long delay.... Added new album Graphic - Object, mostly photos where textures, lines and/or shapes inspired me, rather than some identifiable subject, so if you do not like it, you were warned here. Also some additions to Siracusa (Ortigia), deletions and additions to Street II.
• May 23rd 2010: Various albums have seen a few photos added the last few weeks. Added new album Pantalica.
• May 1st 2010: Added album Siracusa (Castello Maniace).
• Apr. 19th 2010: Updated gear list, added albums Taormina, Siracusa (Duomo) and Milano, added new photos to Street II, Siracusa (Buona Notte), Siracusa (Various) and Siracusa (Ortigia). And a lot of photos left that need a second look and some editing - not enough time now.
• Mar. 22nd 2010: Added album Mongibello (Mt. Etna) and added a few photos to Sicilia.
• Mar. 20th 2010: Updates to Street II, Siracusa (Ortigia), Birds II and Siracusa (Various). Also started on updating the photogallery page to include NotesForGallery 2.0, which should allow better ways to view the albums. Not sure when I'll be done with that, though.
• Feb. 28th 2010: Updates to Siracusa (Parco Archeologico) and Siracusa (Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime). New album Lizard Love. Cleaned up several albums, so some pictures may have shifted albums, and the Siracusa (Ortigia) and Siracusa (Various) albums are no longer split. Updated gear list :-)
• Feb. 3rd 2010: Split Album Birds in two, split album Street in two, and new photos in Birds II and Street II. Also new photos in Siracusa (Ortigia pt. 2).
• Feb. 7th 2010: Split Album Siracusa (Various) in two, and added new photos to Siracusa (Various II) and Street II.
• Feb. 3rd 2010: Split Album Birds in two, split album Street in two, and new photos in Birds II and Street II. Also new photos in Siracusa (Ortigia pt. 2).
• Jan. 17th 2010: Added album Bagna, renamed the Siracusa (experiments) album to Street, and added quite some photos; created a second album for Ortigia. Photos added also to Siracusa (various), Sicilia; and Natale e Capodanno albums.
• Dec. 29th 2009: Added album for x-mas and newyear. A lot of christmas lights around the city. Also updates to several other albums (Siracusa Buona Notte, Siracusa (Experiments) and Processione di S.Lucia a Siracusa).
• Dec. 17th 2009: Added album Processione di S.Lucia a Siracusa and added a few pictures to various of the Siracusa albums.
• Dec. 1st 2009: Several new photos added to the several Siracusa albums, and to the album Birds.
• Nov. 2nd 2009: Split the Siracusa albums and added many photos. Including the first attempts on streetphotography... Nothing stellar yet. For feedback, if you know me, you know where to find me.
• Oct. 31st 2009: Added album Parco Archelogico in Siracusa.
• Oct. 18th 2009: Added album Villa Romana del Casale.
• Oct. 6th 2009: Added album from a visit to the zoo (Zoo (Ouwehands Rhenen)). Takes a bit to load, quite some photos in it.
• Oct. 4th 2009: Translated site to English. Updated all photos from Spain (2006), in 3 albums.
